Combining modern San Francisco barbeque with southern influences, Big Jim’s Competition BBQ class teaches novice chefs the ins and outs of cooking with charcoal, gas and wood. Led by award winning BBQ guru Chef Jim Modesitt, the class includes all food and supplies, turning BBQ novices into the “King or Queen” of barbeque with dishes like Chef Jim’s award winning ribs, pulled pork sandwiches, salmon, steak and much more. Chef Jim shows the students how to use meat injections, dry rubs, marinades, mop sauces, brines and homemade BBQ sauces.
And the best part: you get to eat what you cook!
Students leave with a wealth of knowledge and a full belly!
