Item Description
As winter settles around us after the holiday season, enjoy the warmth of the Orchestra of Indian Hill's "Life, Love, Legacy" concert, featuring
- DVORAK Carnival Overture
- LIEBERSON Neruda Songs Britt Brown, mezzo-soprano
- BRAHMS Symphony No. 1
The professional Orchestra of Indian Hill is critically-acclaimed, known for their symphonic masterworks with Maestro Bruce Hangen. Maestro Hangen shared these thoughts on this concert:
"Dvorak’s Carnival Overture is both an exuberant and tender portrayal of an outdoor carnival as we anticipate the carnival season. Britt Brown returns to our stage with musical settings of Chilean poet Pablo Neruda––five extraordinarily beautiful love songs that composer Lieberson wrote for his wife who premiered the work. And the huge, wonderful first symphony of Brahms, demonstrating he truly inherited Beethoven’s musical legacy."
You and three friends can delight in an evening at the orchestra.
Details: Tickets are for Center section, Row V, Seats 101, 102, 103 and 104. Performance is on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 7:30 pm at Littleton HS Performing Arts Center.
