Item Description
Created from stones that are between 70 million and 400 million years old, sculptor Andrew Mintz creates one of a kind bird baths that will last a lifetime and beyond.
The beauty of Andrew's work lies in the subtle contract between material and form. He is inspired by the Japanese method of scuplturing: let the stone tell you what it wants to be. The birdbath is a finely polished survate that illuminates the rich texture and color of the sone and revewals the inner beauty of nature's creationg.
Andrew uses hammers and chisels as well as modern power tooks with diamond blades and grinders.
The birdbath comes in two pieces with the base measuring 21" tall. Birdbath basin is 21" in diameter.
