Item Description

Originally from Orange County, California, Josh moved to Dallas, Texas to expand his career as a part of the Gas Monkey Garage fabrication team, where he helps restore derelict American cars – everything from 1931 Model A cars to ’73 Trans Ams. You can also find him building cars as a TV personality on Discovery Channel’s “Fast N’ Loud” and “Shifting Gears.”

One of his latest personal builds is a 1964 Chevy C10 pick up that was built with the purpose of bringing awareness for autism. It has a custom blue paint job and is named “Hammerhead” because his son loves sharks! The car has been featured on many social media platforms including Gas Monkey Garage and the covers of magazines, all while sporting the autism awareness license plate frame and puzzle piece on the back window.

In collaboration with Javier “Shorty” Ponce and Tanner Leaser, this hot rod surfboard is painted on a Brawner surfboard and features u-bends and Stromberg 97 carburetors. Follow them on social media @LoloMetalSmith, @ShortysCustomPaint, and @Tanner41GB.
