Item Description
1.5 Liter Bottle of Flowers 2014 Pinot Noir (Sonoma Coast)
This is a gorgeously light coastal offering, a subdued expression of the variety that unravels its layers slowly and methodically. Red cherry, lavender and blueberry are revealed on the palate as perfumed shocks of rose and salty air permeate the nose.
At Flowers, they strive to produce expressive wines that showcase the diversity of the rugged Sonoma Coast. Their gravity flow winery allows for gentle handling and is carved into a steeply sloped ridge just two miles from the Pacific Ocean. Their founders, Joan and Walt Flowers, were among the first to plant Pinot Noir in this extreme maritime climate.
The Sonoma Coast is an American Viticultural Area in Sonoma County, California, United States containing more than 500,000 acres, mostly along the coastline of the Pacific Ocean. It extends from San Pablo Bay to the border with Mendocino County. The appellation is known for its cool climate and high rainfall relative to other parts of Sonoma County.
The bottle contains 1.5 liters of wine.
