Item Description
Host a 3 hour party at the Hudson Valley Writers' Center. This lovely historic building overlooks the Hudson River at the Philipse Manor RR Station. They offer a lovely community room, small kitchen, 2 bathrooms and a large patio with spectacular views.
The Philipse Manor train station is both headquarters and performance space for the Writers' Center. In 1996, the board of directors and staff of the Center completed restoration of the station building, which is listed on the National and State Registers of Historic Places.
The Preservation League of New York State selected The Hudson Valley Writers' Center to receive its prestigious Excellence in Preservation Award for the restoration in 2005.
Item Special Note
(Also included are 30 minutes before and after the party for the party host to set up and break down.) Depending upon the nature of the party, additional insurance may be required.
