Item Description
Start or add to a collection of ancient Jewish coins with this genuine coin from Caesarea during the rule of Nero minted right before the commencement of the Jewish Revolt (66-73 CE).
The obverse (left image) is a portrait of Nero; the reverse (right image) depicts Tyche, the city God of Caesarea. The coin is 23 mm in. diameter and weighs 12.15 gm. Rosenberger 2-9. Fine.
Purchased in 2014 from VAuctions. The winning bidder will receive copy of VAuctions bill of sale.
