Item Description
This auction is for a Ride to School in a Fire Truck by the Lakeview Fire Department.
The Lakeview Fire Department will pick up a child (and up to two additional siblings/friends from the same pick-up point) and take them to school within the Indian Lake Local School District.
The Lakeview Fire Department has been proudly servicing the Village of Lakeview and surrounding areas since the early 1900’s. The department is a volunteer organization under the direction of Chief Norm Spring and Assistant Chief Dan Definbaugh. There are approximately 16 well trained and dedicated volunteers who are well prepared for emergency situations.
The ISO Fire Rating for the village is a Class 6. The ISO Fire Rating is a combination of equipment and personnel, fire hydrants and water system, and fire prevention activities.
Our Fire Department strives to be on top of their training, so that they're ready for anything that comes their way. Earlier this year, they participated in ice rescue training, to provide themselves with some the knowledge to quickly and more effectively respond to any winter accidents.
Fire Chief - Norman Spring
1st Assistant - Dan Definbaugh
