Enjoy a family membership for a year at The Providence Athenæum. The Providence Athenæum is an independent, member-supported library and cultural center located on Providence’s historic Benefit Street.
For nearly two centuries, the Athenæum has been at the center of intellectual and cultural life in Providence. Each year, the library welcomes dozens of writers, historians, scholars, artists, and leaders to converse with its members. Inside this special place, you'll gain access to amazing collections, remarkable history, and a community of curious, interesting and spirited people. Participate in Salons, join one of its many reading groups, explore the Children's Library, attend special events, and enjoy book-borrowing privileges with your one-year membership.
Item Special Note
The membership can only be redeemed by someone not currently a member of the Athenæum. Current Athenæum members can purchase the membership for a gift for someone not currently a member, but a current member cannot redeem the membership for his or her own use.
Membership must be activated before 1/25/21. To activate this membership, the winner must complete and return the envelope that will accompany this auction item.
Winning bidder must pick up the auction item(s) at Meeting Street, located at 1000 Eddy Street, Providence, RI between February 3 and March 2, 2020. Specific pick up times will be included in a confirmation email that will be sent once the winner's payment is processed. Out-of-state bidders may contact the auction administrator at events@meetingstreet.org to arrange for shipping at the bidder's expense. Thank you for your support!
