Item Description
This magnificent and mysterious piece which sold many years ago for $450 is now a priceless collector's item. Bertha Gotterup lived, worked, and taught pottery in Crestone, Colorado. Her work has been exhibited at numerous galleries and museums. Arguably Crestone's "most beloved citizen," Bertha's generosity and kindness have been a blessing to so many, including all of us at Nada, and especially those Nadans to whom she has taught the craft and love of pottery.
Our beloved Bertha passed away several years ago and this treasure has been held by Darlene Yarbrough, who has decided to pass it on as a donation to the ashram for our holiday auction. It is about one foot in diameter and one foot tall excluding candles. We are deeply grateful and know it will go to just the right person.
