Item Description
HEIRLOOM JEWELRY - This beautiful jewelry set is a replica of one owned by Former First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy. It features simulated emerald stones set in 24K gold plated metal and accented with shining crystals. The necklace is 18" long x 3/8" wide. The clasp is a strong box clasp with a safety catch. The pierced dangle earrings are 1-1/2" long x 5/8" wide. If you remove the hanging portion of the earring, the remaining stud earring is 1/4" long. This set is perfect for a special occasion.
JFK knew how invaluable Jackie had been during his campaign for the Presidency and was fully aware that he might not have won without her. To show his appreciation, he presented Jackie with this set of emerald and diamond earrings when she became First Lady. She wore the Emerald Drop necklace with the matching bracelet and earrings to the Inaugural Gala on January 20, 1961. The earrings are stunning and go from formal to informal with a removable pendant. Great for day or night.
