Item Description
The Travis Family Farm makes goat's milk body products using the milk from their Nubian goats. This beautiful selection is comprised of: Cool beans body butter, Heart and Hive body butter, Time Rewind facial mist, Oatmeal milk bath, Cool Beans goat milk soap, Coconut goat milk soap, Apple goat milk soap, Caramel lip butter, Peppermint lip butter, Vôvô washcloth. Goat's milk has unique properties for soap because it naturally contains more than 50 nutrients, including vitamins A, C and B-complex, which nourish the skin. Each bar of Rachyl's Goat Milk Soap is made with an ounce of pure, fresh goat's milk and then combined with organic oils and scents to create 19 individual types of soap.
Item Special Note
Rachyl Travis started making goat milk soap at the age of 8. It was initially a way to use up all the extra goat milk her family collected and it made a great present, but the overwhelmingly positive response in the first year led her to launch Rachyl's Goat Milk Soap. In March of 2014, tragedy struck when the nursing barn caught fire early one morning. They lost more than fifty animals. Since then, the family has built the herd back up. Now 17, Rachyl is enrolled in business school while running a successful business. They produce about 800 bars of soap per week, along with other body products, at the family farm in North Scituate, RI.
