Experience the warm hospitality of Wheeler Farms Winery, where vineyards and winemaking exist in harmony with fruit trees, vegetable gardens, chickens, bees, and Old California agricultural architecture. The historic property of the J.H. Wheeler Family, founded in 1890, is now a state-of-the-art custom crush winery where Wheeler Farms Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, and soon to be released first vintages of Chardonnay and Rosé are produced by revered vintners, Daphne and Bart Araujo. Their winemaking clients craft some of the best, small-production premier wines in Napa Valley here.
Your adventure begins with Executive Chef and Director of Gardens Sarah Heller, who will take you on a tour of the extensive Culinary Gardens where you can sample Napa’s seasonal bounty and edible flowers. Afterwards, visit the state-of-the-art winery and learn about some of the advanced technology in use. Last but not least, you will enjoy unobstructed views of Mt. St. Helena from the stunning Hospitality House, and enjoy a private tasting of Wheeler Farms wines with your seasonal garden lunch prepared for you by Sarah.
By the end of your visit, you will have savored the wonderful roots of the Wheeler Farms tradition: a sanctuary of biodiversity and bountiful gardens and orchards, a unique collaboration of winegrowers, outstanding wines, and the pervasive pursuit of excellence present in every corner of Wheeler Farms.
