Item Description
Four students will join Professor Heymann for dinner and a performance of Cadence Theatre Company’s True West, by Sam Shepherd. A finalist for the 1983 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, True West is a powerful and intense story about estranged brothers Austin and Lee — one a well-educated screenwriter, the other a drifter and a thief — meeting at their mother’s home after five years apart. Cadence’s innovative production, which runs May 7 to May 31, will ask the audience to decide before each performance which actor will portray Austin and which will portray Lee. Depending on availability, Professor Heymann will invite a member of Cadence’s artistic team to join us for dinner to talk about the production.
*Tickets for May 7 -31, 2020*
