Item Description
Let our trained staff at Central Rock Gym Manhattan do all the work for you. Available in one hour blocks on the half-hour on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00am-3:30pm, this program allows you to climb for an hour without taking a belay training course. Our staff will get you situated with all the climbing gear you and everyone in your party will need, then belay you on our 40 ft tall rope walls.
CRG Manhattan is primarily a bouldering facility – no rope skills or prior experience required! We provide climbers with a dedicated space to climb, train, and connect with the community. We also offer an approachable means for newcomers to explore climbing for the very first time. Our facility features over 400 linear feet of bouldering offering beginner to advanced climbs. We have a large central area to hang out, meet other members of the community, and relax.
Tall Roped Climbing: We have a 40ft. tall climbing wall with 13 rope stations open to climbers throughout the day. We also offer top rope classes, lead climbing classes and training to learn more about this incredible sport.
Youth Hours: To keep everyone safe, access to climbers under age 14 is limited. Youth hours are MON-FRI 6am-6pm and SAT-SUN 8am-3pm. If you are age 14+, you can come during any of the gym’s open hours.
Item Special Note
Must be scheduled in advance. Non-Members: Participants who wish to boulder may purchase a Day Pass Add-On for $20 ($15 for anyone 22 and under).
All participants are required to have a waiver on file with us. Participants under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by their parent or legal guardian.
