Item Description
One of the best tools in the kitchen is a chef's knife and getting comfortable with a knife takes lots of practice. So why not practice and learn how to properly chop fruits and vegetables like a real professional with EB parent, Anya LeGault.
This class is not focused on preparing a meal but rather providing you with lots of repetition to get you cutting, slicing, and chopping comfortably.
Using vegetables as your guide, you will learn the proper, and safest, ways to use, store, and hone your knives. You can bring your own sharpened knife if you would like, but if you don't have one, Anya will provide you with the right one!
Begin the morning with some coffee, before you jump into the methods behind cutting, slicing and chopping fruits and vegetables! After the class, enjoy a spread of delectable brunch items, including a dish that you will make with the class.
*If you would like your knife sharpened beforehand, bring your knife to the Perfect Edge Cutlery & Commercial Sharpening booth every 4th Sunday at the Temescal Farmer's Market! You can also go to The Starp Brothers (who could be found at Grand Lake Oakland Farmers Market, Kensington Farmers Market and several others)
