Neither is true for the intrepid Laurie Claudon.
Laurie has many titles to pin to her life vest -- mother, wife, therapist, vintner, grandmother, philanthropist, UVFC board member, volunteer, and kayaker … to name just a few.
While she has traveled the world, she has also had a long history right here in her own backyard of the upvalley community.
Take a sunset kayak ride on Lake Hennessey guided by Laurie herself. When you take a break in paddling to take in the colors of the sunset skies, ask her about some of the many adventures she’s been on; you can be sure that it will add to the journey.
Of course, it wouldn’t be the Napa Valley without food and wine. You’ll enjoy it all.

Although this is no indication of danger level, the lucky winner will be asked to sign a liability waiver for this experience.
Collection of California Sales Tax: Unless a valid resale permit is presented to the seller prior to the sale, purchaser will be required to pay all state and local retail sales taxes applicable on the date of sale. Resale permits will be accepted only for businesses that are reasonably expected to buy and sell wine. Sales tax will be collected on the purchase price of each lot which contains tangible goods.
