Co-owned by renowned restaurateur Drew Nieporent and legendary actor Robert De Niro, the Grill continues to receive many prestigious awards including, the coveted Grand Award from Wine Spectator Magazine every year since 2002. As a must-visit wine destination, the Grill features an extensive list featuring the world's largest selection of Châteauneuf du Pape (over 250) as well as many rare California Cabernet verticals. The 2,200 selection, 20,000 bottle list is one of only ten restaurants in New York to receive the Grand Award. Executive Chef Brenton Lee's savory and satisfying cuisine reaffirms Tribeca Grill’s standing as one of NYC’s longest running and most beloved dining experiences.

Tribeca Grill occupies the first two floors of the building that houses the Tribeca Film Center. It was originally the Martinson Coffee Factory. The beautiful mahogany bar at the center of the restaurant has a little bit of magic and a whole lot of history. It was first at Jack Dempsey’s Bar & Restaurant, at the Brill Building in the heart of Tin Pan Alley, where many great songs were composed. Next stop was the famed Maxwell’s Plum Restaurant, a popular and flamboyant Upper East Side destination. Upon becoming the centerpiece of Tribeca Grill, it’s a place for guests from all over the world to enjoy wonderful ambiance, food and drink.

All the ingredients that have made Tribeca Grill a beloved destination for almost 30 years are still here. Drew Nieporent is still a presence, meeting and greeting guests. Managing Partner Martin Shapiro has been a steady hand at the helm since the very beginning, as has Wine Director David Gordon. And now Chef Brenton Lee is thrilling diners with inventive menus, vivid flavors, and simply delicious fare.
