Item Description
Green Winter Pond is done in acrylic paint on wood. In deep shades of purple, green, blue, white, and brown, this peaceful forest exudes calm and contemplation. This piece hung in a solo show at The U.S. Capitol, Cannon House Office Building. Mr. Donovan is a highly regarded artist whose work is in numerous public and private collections including the National Gallery of Art, The Smithsonian American Art Museum, and The Baltimore Museum of Art, among others. The painting is in a hand-built wooden black frame with an inner frame in soft variegated green. The overall size is 30" x 27".
