Item Description
Winner of this item will receive a gift certificate for $125 to Wee Scotty Sewing School. Lynne Gallagher, owner of Wee Scotty, dreamed of creating a children's clothing business that would be anything but ordinary. Her move to San Francisco in 1991 enabled her to pursue this dream which became Wee Scotty. Her flair for the dramatic translated into bold fabrics, colors and textures that eventually would become the Wee Scotty trademark. Lynne's passion for design and sewing lead to the embarking of knowledge to youths of San Francisco and Mill Valley. At Wee Scotty, Gallagher has been successfully teaching children how to sew in San Francisco for the past twenty years. Many of her students have become so advanced that they are able to compete with and share their skills with adults. Students have continued interest and gone to NYU, Pratt, RISD, Academy of Art and Parsons. At Wee Scotty, we believe the art of sewing is best when shared with others.
