Item Description
This wood and metal table, crafted by Mark Covington of Columbia Forest Products, sits on a old treadle sewing machine base, but its top is unique. It is inscribed by wetting it down and applying two elecrical sources at different points along the table, allowing the interaction between fire and water to etch the surface before it is finished and sealed. It would make a beautiful and functional talking point in your home (what an amazing bar table!)
