Item Description

Welcome aboard the M/S Mount Washington for a cruise on Lake Winnipesaukee, New Hampshire. The M/S Mount Washington is a first-class, 230-ft. excursion ship offering daily scenic cruises, dinner dance cruises each evening and Sunday Brunch cruises calls Weirs Beach its home port.

You are bidding on four (4) Daytime Cruise tickets OR two (2) Sunday Brunch & Cruise tickets OR two (2) Dinner Dance Cruise tickets.

The M/S Mount Washington visits five different ports on alternating days throughout the week. What used to be basically a summer attraction now operates May through October. All cruises are 2½ hours roundtrip. On your evening dinner cruise aboard the Mount you'll enjoy a delicious buffet dinner and dancing to live music. If you choose a brunch cruise your ticket includes one of the area's largest brunch buffets, live entertainment, and the most beautiful scenery in New Hampshire.

Winnipesaukee (win-e-puh-saw'-kee), New Hampshire's largest lake, (named for a Native American word meaning "smile of the great spirit" or "beautiful water in a high place") is glacier formed and spring fed. Surrounded by 3 mountain ranges, the lake is 504 feet above sea level. It is approximately 25 miles long 15 miles wide, covers 72 square miles and contains more than 240 habitable islands. The lake's wooded shoreline and crystal clear water makes it a popular summer resort, and visitors from all over the world come to rest and relax in its beautiful surroundings.

The evolution of "The Mount" is fascinating! The S.S. Mount Washington II has undergone many physical changes over the years. The two most significant were the ones that included changes to her designation. In 1946, a replacement of her steam engines with diesel rechristened her as "M/V Mount Washington". In 1982, the ship was cut down the center and an extra 25 feet was added to her length. In doing so, she was reclassified as official ship by maritime standards. Again she was rechristened, this time as "M/S Mount Washington".

Item Special Note
