More details:
Our 2019 Olive Branch Farm Olive Oil has been certified extra virgin by Applied Sensory, LLC. Our Tuscan variety trees produce an oil that is a blend of ripe fruit, green fruit, pungent, with a peppery finish.
Our oil is high in antioxidants and polyphenols. These qualities give the oil a long shelf life. We expect at least 2 years if stored properly. But we recommend you use it, it's not wine and does not get better the longer you store it. Store olive oil in a cool, dry, dark place. The best temperature for storing oil is 57 degrees, though room temperature below 70 degrees is okay. Don't store in the refrigerator.
Olive oil has a smoke point of 410 degrees Fahrenheit, far above the 250-350 degrees that covers most cooking. Make your fried foods healthier by using olive oil.
