Peter Michael Marino is a New York City native who has worked extensively as a producer, director, developer, writer, teacher, and performer. Pete is one of NYC's most sought-after solo show, comedy, marketing, and development coaches.
Pete is a member of The Dramatists Guild, AEA, SAG-AFTRA, The Indie Theater Fund, and a graduate of the Commercial Theater Institute. His production company PM2 Entertainment has created marketing campaigns, branding strategies, story pitches and press releases for dozens of products, shows, and festivals. Published in news, columns, features, picks, listings and articles about his projects and those of his clients have been published everywhere from the New York Times to LA Weekly and in dozens of other publications across the USA and UK.
In this one-on-one, idea generating workshop, you'll explore:
-How to get the word about about your product, event or show
-What goes into a press release and an electronic press kit
-How to get the press to notice your work
-Together, we'll toss around creative ideas, make old ideas fresh and use pre- existing press releases and Electronic Press Kits for inspiration while discovering effective ways to package your unique show, product, or event.
