Katie Dryden is a master at envisioning the big picture, she is as comfortable with the grand gesture as she is the minute detail. “Conceptualizing is my strength,” she says. “I was classically trained, and can easily see shapes, colors and styles within the broader architecture.” A veteran of illustrious New York firms JP Molyneux Studio and Aero Studios – where she worked alongside acclaimed designer Thomas O’Brien – Katie counts her passions as 20th century furniture and art. “Still,” she says, “I’m a big believer in pushing things a bit. You can be a little edgy without being scary, or show a hint of humor without sacrificing character.”
Katie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from Kent State University.
