Item Description
Michael Tracy, aka Tracy168, is a legendary New York graffiti artist who pioneered writing Wildstyle letters (complex and wildly original letterforms) on the subway trains in the 1970s and beyond. Internationally recognized as one of the most innovative and important legends in aerosol writing culture, Tracy168 was pleased to offer a fun and legible Spanish letter alphabet piece to the K-106 classroom around which our children can write and explore their own letters. He has always taken pride in honoring the “each one teach one” graffiti ethic of mentoring the next generations and supporting the creativity of young artists in the making. You can find Tracy's work recognized in many institutions, including The New York Historical Society.
