Hand painted rock of baby elephant. Painted with acrylics and sealed with clear Krylon paint.
Message from the artist:
I have always had art in my life. Both my parents were artists. They graduated from The Art Institue of Chicago, where they met. So needless to say, my formative years were enriched with art. My mother taught me to draw at an early age. Drawing, painting, and clay were my playground. As a young adult, I took art classes at Weber State University in Utah in watercolor, painting, and photography. Watercolor became my passion...until I found rock painting! The rocks have been a wonderfully exciting canvas. I joined a rock painting group online, called Suicide Prevention Rocks. We paint inspirational rocks and hide them for people to find. I have also donated my rocks to charities, like Wildlife SOS, my personal favorite.
