Item Description
To make Dalmore King Alexander III, Master Distiller Richard Paterson selected a range of differently aged malts matured in a mixture of French wine casks, Madeira drums, sherry butts, Marsala barrels, port pipes and bourbon barrels from Kentucky. A remarkable feat of blending. A gold medal winner for Scotch Single Malt - Highland - 2019 at the International Wine & Spirit Competition
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Malty and utterly Dalmore. Seville orange zest, Parfait Amour, malty cereal, barley, and chocolate. Creamy vanilla fudge, tropical fruit with a vaguely vinous quality.
Palate: Medium, rounded. Winterberries, spice, zesty orange. Liqueurs emerge; Grand Marnier, kirsch and Frangelico.
Finish: Peppery with well-integrated oak and the claret makes a last-minute appearance.
Package includes one 750ml bottle of Dalmore King Alexander III Scotch Whiskey.
