Item Description
The columbine flower symbolizes faith, love and hope.
This pair of works, framed together in clear glass, by Winnipeg high school senior, Meghan Forbes features the columbine flowers in ink and in ink with watercolour. The simple black frame allow the pieces to be the feature.
Meghan is a 17 year old, Winnipeg high school senior that likes pina colada's and getting caught in the rain. She has a piece that is to be featured in the Canadian Museum for Human Rights later this year as a part of the ARTiculate exhibit for young artists.
Meghan chose to be a part in this art auction because it is for a good cause, and it gave her something to do while currently out of school. She is also looking for different ways to get her art out in the public eye.
