Cal Ripken, Jr., nicknamed “The Iron Man”, holds the Major League record for consecutive games played – 2632. A first-ballot Hall of Famer, Ripken played his entire 21 year career with the Baltimore Orioles at shortstop and third base. A 19 time All-Star, two-time American League MVP winner and AL Rookie of the Year in 1982, Ripken is considered one of the greatest players in Orioles franchise history.
