Richard Singleton is a self taught artist. Born in Bolton, England, he immigrated to Canada, he was an engineer for most of his working life. Inspired by the natural objects he found on the shores of the beaches he anchored at, he began painting Pelican bones and palm fronds. He then took up painting on canvas the beauty of the natural world as he sees it. He has shown in galleries all over Victoria. He has published his memoirs entitled, All About Me.
