Item Description
Let Katie Taylor guide you in making the best choice to preserve your family heirloom or recent purchase with this two-hour consultation concerning the care of any book, print, or photograph in your personal collection. Handling, storage, proper climate, hanging materials and options/general conservation practices and preventative conservation covered. Katie is even willing to go to the home of the winning bidder to look at the item and make the best recommendation for it. Appropriate housing, environmental conditions, repair options, amd more can be covered at the choice of the bidder. Photographs and other fine also an optional topic. Qualifications include 7 years as an assistant conservator at the Getty Research Institute and 3 years as the preservation officer at the Margaret Herrick Library.
Item Special Note
Certificates will be mailed to the winning bidder at an additional cost. The Waverly School and/or donors are not responsible for shipping fees.
