Private poetry reading with acclaimed and entertaining poet Jake Marmer, a JCC East Bay LABA fellow. Jake is the author of three poetry collections: Jazz Talmud, Neighbor Out of Sound, and Cosmic Diaspora (forthcoming).
Bid on this unique offering and have Jake Marmer liven up your special gathering with a 30-minute klez-jazzy poetry reading featuring new and published poetry, followed by a Q&A. Jake is an enigmatic, engaging presence who wowed the audience at the JCC's sold-out LABAlive event in November.
Invite your friends and family for a one-of-a-kind Zoom or in-person poetic gathering. The winner will also receive a handwritten copy of their favorite poem from the reading.
Item Special Note
Expires August 31, 2021. Event will occur on a mutually agreed upon date after late August between winning bidder and Jake Marmer.
Winner can choose to have private reading via Zoom or (once SIP/social distancing restrictions are lifted) in their home. Home reading must take place in one of the following cities: Berkeley, Oakland, Albany, Kensington, Alameda, and El Cerrito.
