Item Description
This is an opportunity to purchase a kamia (amulet) and support Beit T'Shuvah at the same time. These were hand scribed by our very own Rabbi Joseph Shamash. This comes with a tube so it can be rolled up and used as a keychain for healing energy.
The verse on the amulet is
"Nafshi Holat Ahavatecha Ana El Na Refah Na La"
My soul, my being, is lovestruck for your love. Please God! Please, heal her!” - Kabbalat Shabbat liturgy.
This kamia is for anyone with a broken heart who seeks love and God’s healing.
What is a kamia?
For many generations, Jewish people in the ancient near east and all over the world beseeched to the Eternal One for healing of body and soul. One tradition of doing so was to carry around a kamia (Aramaic for “amulet”) on one’s person as a source of healing and a constant reminder of God’s healing powers.
Please note, this kamia (amulet) contains the written name of God in it. It is intended for healing and should not be desecrated. Please use with care and caution and DO NOT DISCARD the text in the trash. It should be buried or placed in a safe place. If you have any questions please contact Rabbi Joseph Shamash at rabbishamash@gmail.com
