Item Description

Master trainer Roberto Quijandria's gentle touch and quiet confidence are the foundation for producing gentle, responsive horses. The hot-blooded Peruvians of La Estancia Alegre were known for their success in the show ring and on the rugged trails of New Mexico thanks to his patience and skills. Roberto grew up training horses in his native Peru and since he arrived in United States more than 35 years ago, he worked with hundreds of horses to hone his craft. Whether its a complicated Peruvian reining pattern or a simple water crossing, Roberto brings out the best in a horse. The owners and patrons of Meadowbrook Farms count themselves lucky that Roberto has chosen the Castle Rock, Colorado, ranch as the sight of his independant training operation. He takes a limited number of outside horses, and this free month of training is valued at $500.00. For this special opportunity, he is happy to work with the owner to meet training goals, wheather its starting a new horse under saddle, transitioning from bozal to bit, polishing a finished horse, teaching the horse to navigate trails obstacles or other specific issues.

Located just south of Denver, Meadowbrook Farms is 107 acres of rolling green hills set in the forefront of the Rocky Mountains. With indoor and outdoor arenas, miles of trail of the property and many miles more a short haul away, the farms welcome Peruvian Paso horse lovers. Owners Mark Renn and Leigh Anderson compete, breed and trail ride their herd of 15, and additional Peruvians board there to take advantage of Robert Quijandria's expertise. This donation is for a month of board, a $550.00 value.

The value of this package is $1050.00.
