Item Description

Local artist, Janet Payne, created this pair of fish out of plastic trash collected from the beaches of Cape May on her daily morning walks. Each fish is approximately two feet in length. A great conversation starter for the importance of cleaning up our oceans and limiting our use of plastics.

Local Cape May area artists were each given a wooden cut out of a fish to transform into a piece of art, using all types of art media ranging from recycled materials, paint, mosaics, driftwood and more.  These works were to be featured at the Nature Center’s Earth Day Birthday celebration marking the 25th anniversary of the Center this April. Now, you can own one! 24 inches long by 12 inches tall
