About "Deluge":

Sacramento remained under water for six months, forcing the state government to move to San Francisco. Geological evidence shows that a flood of this magnitude hits the western United States every one to two hundred years.

"This is another of the great work that James D. Best is famous for. Riveting from beginning to end. I hated to see the end come as I was fully absorbed in the story. Loved it!"

"I really liked the author's western series so I gave this a try. To be honest I thought it was going to be non-fiction from the description detailing the great 1800's flood in California. I was pleasantly surprised to see it was a "what if" it happened again in modern times. I really liked the characters (and went back and read the first book with them in it "The Shut Mouth Society". Good action and interaction in the book."
