Item Description
Ashes & Diamonds Winery, Napa
A&D Vintage Experience for Four
Ashes & Diamonds Winery is a love letter to Napa Valley as it was when it took the world stage in the 1960s, revealing itself as a geological wonderland capable of world-class wines.
Located at the gateway of Napa Valley, Ashes & Diamonds Winery’s mid-century approach extends to its architecture. As an homage, the iconic zig-zag roof and portholes are a few references to the heritage of California mid-century modern design, seamlessly integrated with a state-of-the-art wine production facility surrounded by light, airy landscapes and playful, rolling berms.
Ashes & Diamonds Winery is the ultimate convergence of modern and old-school flavors, committed to offering a wide-ranging group of wines that adhere to an ethos of light-handed winemaking and transparency of terroir.
The A&D Vintage Experience provides a retrospective tasting opportunity for the wine scholar looking to explore the iconic and storied mid-century era of Napa Valley. This is an opportunity to learn about the vineyards and vintners who inspired the winemaking style, farming practices and ethos of Ashes & Diamonds.
Following a private tour of the estate vineyards, production facility and cellar, guests will be seated for a private tasting including rare Napa bottlings from the 1960s and 1970s, alongside current and upcoming releases from A&D. The tasting will be capped by a private, customized food and wine pairing, inspired by classic fare from the era.
Appointment is required. Valid until April 30, 2021.
