Your $20,000 gift helps provide critically-needed support services for both survivors and their family members, like the Community Resource Referral Assistance program.
Navigating the life changes that can happen after a brain injury is often a challenging journey. Survivors and family members often express that they feel lost and without a plan after returning to home from the hospital and that there are few resources available to assist them in adjust to their 'new normal.' When things are hard to navigate, Schurig Center helps by connecting people to the resources they need to live their best life. We advocate for clients in many ways, including helping them access programs in the community for housing, food, medical care, transportation, and pathways back to work. Last year, over 300 people benefitted from Schurig Center's Community Resoure Referral Assistance program, which is offered free of charge.
Thank you for helping to ensure everyone has access to life-enhancing services after brain injury, when they need it and for as long as they need it, regardless of their financial resources.
