Item Description
Bare Trees (#baretreesrocks) are created as a simple representation of various kinds of evergreen and deciduous trees. I find trees in winter are particularly interesting because their limbs, hidden most of the year, reveal their structure, strength and symmetry. Hopefully, the observer will connect to their own favorite natural place and perhaps think about how much humans depend on trees. The materials used are primarily copper wire, (bright or with bluish green, red or white patinas). The wire is twisted and formed into miniature spreading oaks, weeping willows, apples, maples, spruces and even palm trees. The trees are set on special rocks gathered along lakes, streams and the seashore.
Dimensions: 8.5" high x 9" wide
