Item Description

 

This thin-wrapped photo canvas print by Kateri Garcia, with a smooth lustre finish, is entitled Lotus Bloom. The lotus flower symbolizes the purity of the enlightened mind that has arisen amidst the muddy waters of samsara. It also represents non-attachment, the roots grown out of the mud but the flowers blossom is pure.

Kateri Garcia is a photographer and painter currently living in Arlington, Virginia. She is a native New Mexican who has lived in a number of cities throughout North and South America. She loves to travel and draws inspiration from experiencing new places and meeting new people. She is also a practicing Buddhist who believes in mindfulness and living in the present. Kateri's artwork has been shown in exhibits at the Seaside Art Gallery as well as Del Ray Artisans.
