Item Description
Up to four people are invited to spend 7 days and nights at your choice of one of 13 luxurious villas in and around the town of Manciano in Tuscany, Italy. Each villa has 2 or 3 bedrooms, 2 baths with showers, living room, and kitchen.
Located an easy hour-and-a-half drive north of Rome, and close to Sienna and Firenze (Florence), Manciano is a pretty hilltop town situated in the Maremma area of Tuscany. Sitting above the Albegna River, the town offers gorgeous views of the surrounding hills that extend inland toward the mountains and down toward the sea. Manciano has a well-maintained old town and a castle that was built in 1188. Restaurants, gelato bars, and shopping are just steps away. The area is known for hiking trails, horseback riding, wineries, cheese shops, interesting museums, and the world-class Saturnia hot springs that have been gushing since the Roman period with a constant temperature of 99.5 degrees F.
This stay in Tuscany has no expiration. It can be taken any time in the future, starting in 2021, subject to availability. The owner will do everything possible to accommodate the schedule of the guests. Trips are scheduled Saturday-Saturday, Friday-Friday, or Thursday-Thursday, depending on the villa selected.
All of the guests at these villas are charity benefit donors.
Item Special Note
Accommodations for up to 2 additional people can be arranged for an additional $500 per person in the 3 villas (Mira Bella, Allegra, and La Terrazza) that have 3 bedrooms and 2 baths.
If children are included in the guests at any of the villas, an extra deposit of $500 is required, and is refundable following an inspection 2 weeks after the departure date.
Because this vacation property can be used any time in the future, subject to availability, starting in 2021, no refund will be given on the purchase of this Auction item. This Tuscan stay can be sold, traded, or donated only with the written consent of the owner.
