- Proprietary virtual class on postpartum recovery and preparation
- Proprietary virtual class on infant feeding
- 1 in-person lactation consult, including a personalized feeding plan for your baby
- 12 hours of in-person postpartum support (4 hour min. per session) to help with processing the birth, postpartum recovery, newborn care, and infant feeding
- Classes are held online and last about 90min each
- Offered about once a month so they can be timed close to the birth of the baby
Class Descriptions:
Infant Feeding Class
We will go over the basics of chest and bottle feeding. We will teach you to read your baby's feeding cues so you know when they are hungry and satisfied. We will explain the difference between feeding on schedule vs on demand, and teach how to know your baby is transferring enough milk.
Postpartum Preparation and Recovery
In this meeting we will talk about your physical recovery after birth, what life with a newborn looks like, and how to build a support system that works for you.
