ABOUT THE BUSINESS: YARN: Our yarn shop is filled with luscious colors and textures and just the right items to fill your knitting desires. We carry tried and true basics, like Plymouth, Berroco, Juniper Moon, Debbie Bliss, and Cascade, as well as natural treasures and local hand-spun. Knitter's Pride, Chiagoo, Brittany, and KA supply our needles providing a selection of wood, birch, bamboo, and stainless steal. Accessories and patterns accent the shop space. We're keeping our prices reasonable so that you can always afford to be knitting something. And we'll take the time to help you with your project, whether you are just starting it or just taking it out after years of procrastination. You can join us for our "Sit & Knit" evenings on Saturday and Sunday afternoons and check out our workshop schedule for invigorating learning opportunities. Local Fibers: We're stocking fibers from thirteen local farmers and spinners now. Alpaca, Shetland, and blends of alpaca and wool, natural, small-batch dyed, hand-spun, mill-spun, large batch dyes... you name it and we have some beauties. YOGA: Our approach to Yoga is unique and fills a community need. From our philosophy that anyone can receive the benefits of a Yoga practice, we appreciate that many bodies need modifications and a more gradual progression of movement. So, we specialize in Gentle Yoga, Chair Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yoga for Chronic Pain Relief, and Meditation. You'll learn about your body and yourself along the way, and perhaps become more content "in" your body and in your daily life. Our environment is non-competitive, and our teaching is easy to follow regardless of shape, size age or experience with yoga. There are no stairs at our front door, which makes us easily accessible.
