Item Description
The Stratocaster is built from combining a 2010 Blacktop Stratocaster body, a 2015 FSR (Factory Special Run) Strat neck and other custom parts. Body and neck were manufactured in Mexico. The pickups were replaced with single-coil set from an early 90’s American Standard Stratocaster. DC resistance of the pickups are 5.9k ohms at the bridge, 6.1k on the middle and 5.9k at the neck, pretty classic output. The wiring harness on this Strat allows 2 additional pickup configurations; a push/pull pot turns on the neck pickup allowing you to have the bridge and neck on or all 3 pickups on together. This is feature is known as the “Gilmour mod.” The neck has a modern “C” shape, a rosewood fingerboard and 21 frets with Fender locking tuners added. The tremolo bridge, block, bar and saddles are stock Fender. The paint is urethane gloss. Weight is 8lbs 4oz. Includes a gig bag.
