Item Description
Stow Away Preserves is a Boxborough-based, hobby business. They create jams and jellies using hyperlocal fruit, harvested within a few miles of their home -- often from their own yard. It is a passion project that connects them with the community and with their ancestral agricultural roots.
This plastic-free Gift Basket includes single 8 oz. jars of 4 of their favorite flavors:
1. Concord Grape Jelly -- the purest, local fall flavor, and SO different from 'store' jelly (aka, purple-colored sugar).
2. Simply Strawberry -- what strawberries 'actually' taste like, when not hidden by excess sweeteners.
3. Vanilla Peach Jelly -- made from peach peels (trying not to waste!). They've been told it tastes like marshmallows, and agree that it makes a mean s'more when paired with Nutella and graham crackers.
4. Cinnamon Crabapple Jelly -- This is their son's favorite, made with fruit from their own heritage, 100-year-old trees. It's perfect for toast, and also makes a mean cool-weather cocktail.
