Suki Waters, owner of WaterTreks, is a local Native American descendant, guide and kayak instructor who has been working with the public in outdoor recreation and safety since 1979. She shares our experience in providing safety and environmental education and promoting responsible ecotourism as well as local and global volunteerism. Suki was one of the original “Stewards of Slavianka” before it became “Stewards of the Coast and Redwoods.”
WaterTreks offers sightseeing tours, rentals, guided instruction and instructional kayak tours with guides who are outdoor/travel enthusiasts, instructors, and experts in outdoor recreation. All of our Guides and Instructors are Certified in Outdoor Safety and Risk Management.
WaterTreks also organizes fund-raisers and educational tours for youth groups, schools, volunteer, environmental and recreational groups or organizations and outdoor activities for business seminars. Sponsorship programs are available for our recreation education scholarships, volunteer activities, and selected recreational and educational events.

Trip to be arranged ahead of time, subject to availability, weather and tide conditions. Minimum age 4. Some previous swim lessons required (must not panic in the water.) We recommend booking well in advance! Contact information will be provided with the gift certificate, which will be mailed or it can be picked up at our temporary pick-up location in Guerneville, CA. You will be given pick-up information if you win the bid. There is a limit of one certificate per group per date.
