Item Description
Meet Constance! "Constance" was created by sculptor Charles Gibbs for the U.S. Ambassador to NATO, Nicholas Burns, and his wife Elizabeth Baylies. Constance spent three years at Truman Hall, the residence of the Ambassador in Brussels. The sculpture was one of twelve artworks selected from the embassies around the world for the 2004 official U.S. embassies calendar, and is featured in a brochure of the art collection at Truman Hall.
Constance is a copper sculpture with a beautiful blue-green patina, mounted on a bluestone base. She stands 63" tall, and may be installed in home or garden. The winning bidder will also receive a copy of the Truman Hall Art brochure and 2004 U.S. Embassy Calendar featuring the piece.
Charles W. Gibbs is an award-winning artist living in Pepperell, MA, whose work has appeared in numerous juried exhibits. He has won awards at the Fitchburg Art Museum and Concord Art. His work is in private collections throughout North America and in Europe.

Details: Due to the size of this sculpture, there is no shipping available on this item. The winning bidder will have to arrange for transportation of the sculpture to their location. If within a reasonable distance of Groton and Pepperell, MA, the sculptor has offered to assist with installation.
