Item Description

The larger dish was made by Carl Tielsh in the later part of the 19th century.  In almost flawless condition it features open work scalloped edges with intricate gilding.  A red and pink floral pattern rests on swirled relief.  Measures 10 1/2" in diameter and 2" deep.  Maker's mark is Blue Eagle, initials C.T. and Germany. This gorgeous dish is suitable for table use.

The smaller dish is marked with an unidentified maker's mark and Germany.  It is in nice condition with some marks of wear.  Gilded scalloped edges surround pink and purple flowers. With dimensions of 8 1/2" L x 7 1/2" W x 1 1/2" Deep, here is a serving piece for candy or small delicacies.
