Item Description
One hour of private instruction for your child with Alliance teacher Nirvana Fairbanks. For children at all levels of French, this hour will be tailored to the needs of your child.
Nirvana regularly teaches classes to children ages 4-10 at the Alliance as well as private instuction.
Nirvana holds a M.A. in French from Portland State University. Her M.A. program focused on second language pedagogy and acquisition, as well as French literature. After graduating with her B.A in French in 2016, she traveled to Paris, Saint-Brieuc, Lyon and Annecy. She plans to return to France in the future. Nirvana loves sharing the French language with others, and has experience teaching people of all ages. In the past she has worked with children at Le Monde and FAIS immersion schools. She believes that learning a language should be fun and interactive and strives to reflect that in her lessons.
The session will be on zoom or in person, depending on public health restrictions at the time of redemption.
